We are seeking a Reception, Reservation Bookings and Administration Assistant to provide front of house services and administrative support.
You must be a team player and be prepared to be flexible due to the nature of our site activities.
As Towcester Racecourse Reception and Administration Assistant you will play an essential role in delivering a wide range of crucial support services to building occupiers and visitors. This will include responding to telephone and email enquiries, providing a focal point for customers. Further, you will provide support to the building by providing access, booking visitors, maintaining lists, raising faults, and supporting the events and operations manager. As well as general administrative support by processing orders, communicating with customers, selling hospitality packages, and working as a team to ensure the efficient day to day running of a busy office. The post plays a crucial role in organising key meetings and using the ResDiary package for events and hospitality bookings.
This is 32 hours, to cover 2 weekends in 4 and 1 late evening per week or and the business needs.
This post is offered as permanent following a probation review after 3 months.

- Previous experience in a similar role in hospitality or a restaurant environment
- Knowledge of ResDiary System
- An exceptional telephone manner as well as being a natural communicator
- Excellent written skills and a good command in English
- Ensure accurate recording of customer data
- Be highly professional and articulate at all times
- Have an excellent understanding of the menus and reservations packages we offer
- Have superb time management skills and ability to prioritise tasks
- Work with the Restaurant team to ensure the smooth running of bookings and events.
- Work closely with the Reservations team to ensure the bookings are clear and precise.
- You will be motivated and enthusiastic
- Previous experience of customer support to an extremely high level.
- Organised, able to use various electronic systems, an excellent communicator, flexible and able to develop the role to meet the requirements of the business.
This is a broad ranging support role.
We’re looking for hard working individuals to join our weekend teams working our admission entrances and tills. This role is ideally suited to people with hospitality/retail experience.
You’ll be part of a team that supports the onsite events and leisure team, dealing with sales at the tills or managing customers at the door.
This work usually covers late afternoons into the evening and similar weekend work.
Would be ideal for a local person wanting part time work with light hours.

|Betting Cashier (10)||Good communication. A proficiency in confident customer service. Good initiative and quick decision-making skills to deal with a range of situations. Dependable maths skills will be required.||Job responsibilities will include dealing with customers responsibly, accepting and paying bets, maintaining a high level of hygiene and tidiness in your workspace, and balancing your takings at the end of the day. You will be required to use a static or mobile betting terminal across the racecourse. Being vigilant with Gambling Law Compliance will also be a strict part of your responsibilities.|

Positions: Admission staff: We are looking for people to manage the admission entrance House Keeping: We are looking for staff to work around the site doing the general house keeping Hours: 3hrs a day - Tuesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s for 3hours|
