Racing has been part of life at Betway Towcester Racecourse since 1928.
Today that means greyhound racing five days a week with free entry, the English Greyhound Derby here until 2031, and National Hunt racing returning on Wednesday 20 October 2027.
When the racing stops, the venue is yours: weddings, Christmas parties, conferences and private celebrations, with indoor suites, outdoor space and 310 acres of Northamptonshire countryside around you.
Events & Venue Hire
Weddings, conferences, birthdays, team away days and more.
Whatever you’re planning, there’s a space for it here. You’ll get suites with views across the track, outdoor space for the bigger occasions, and an events team who’ll look after every detail, from the first call to the last guest leaving the door.
Racing
A day at Betway Towcester Racecourse is hard to beat, and entry is always free. Just book your tickets before you come.
Afternoon racing: Friday, Saturday and Sunday
Evening racing: Monday and Tuesday
Come as you are. Grab a coffee or something from our street food selection and find your spot by the track.
Fancy a game of pool? Our sports bar has tables, plus live football and the big games on the screens between races. Bring your friends and make a day of it.
Saturday Lunch & Sunday Carvery
Our restaurant opens for lunch every Saturday and Sunday, with the racing right in front of you.
On Saturdays it’s proper comfort food from a menu that changes week to week. Think steak and ale pie, beer-battered cod or a creamy fish pie, with treacle tart or apple crumble to finish.
On Sundays it’s the carvery: roast beef and Yorkshire pudding every week, with roast pork, gammon or porchetta alongside, and a vegetarian main too.
No need to pre-order. Book a table ahead, or come for the racing and upgrade on the day, subject to availability.
