Owning a greyhound is great fun, and nothing compares to the excitement of seeing your own greyhound pass the winning line first. If you’re interested in getting started, the best place to begin is by contacting one of our on-site trainers at Towcester Racecourse, who are licensed by the Greyhound Board of Great Britain.

To provide the best possible experience for our Owners, we’ve created a handy guide of Raceday entitlements that those with greyhounds running at Towcester Racecourse can look forward to. 

• FREE ADMISSION AND RACECARD FOR OWNER AND 10 GUESTS 

Owners and a guest will receive free admission to every race meeting at Towcester Racecourse, excluding the English Greyhound Derby Final 

• OWNERS’ DISCOUNT ON RESTAURANT PACKAGE  

We offer Owners a discount of 20% off restaurant bookings for four people, including our two-course lunch on Sunday afternoons. We encourage you to book a table in advance excluding the English Greyhound Derby Final 

• OWNERS’ DISCOUNT ON CELEBRATION/SPONSORSHIP PACKAGES 

Owners celebrating a family event will receive 10% off Race Sponsorship 

• SPECIAL NAMED RACE AND TROPHY FOR GREYHOUNDS REACHING 100 RACES MARK  

• DOG AND BITCH OF THE MONTH AWARDS  

A prize of £50 towards the Owners’ monthly kennel fee paid directly to the Trainer 

• AWARD FOR 3 WINS IN A ROW 

Trophy presentation for any greyhound that wins 3 races in a row 

• REHOMING SUPPORT THROUGH AFFILIATED KENNELS AND PLANNED 

At Towcester Racecourse we are working with Trainers to ensure every dog possible finds a suitable home after their racing careers are over  

• INJURY RECOVERY SCHEME  

We are fully committed to support Owners and will parallel GBGB contributions on a match-funding basis towards the costs of veterinary treatment of greyhounds that sustain career-ending injuries during a race or trial 

• TWICE YEARLY OWNERS’ NIGHT IN EMPRESS RESTAURANT

Terms and conditions for ownership packages
 
·  Valid until March 2027
·  Membership is issued per individual and is non-transferable
·  Lost cards will incur a £10 replacement fee
·  Bar & Food vendors apply at Towcester Racecourse only. No other outlets or third party vendors will accept Membership discount
·  18+ Only – ID will be required for entry or alcohol purchase
·  Misuse of the above may result in your Membership Card being revoked
