As part of our commitment to keeping our staff and our customers safe, we have adopted all the government’s Covid-19 Secure guidelines along with many extras of our own for that added security. You can be confident you are in the best possible care when visiting Towcester Racecourse, if you have any concerns or recommendations, there will be a member of our team available at all times to assist you. We simply ask that you follow and respect all signs across the racecourse as they are in place for your safety and the safety of our staff.

Yes. We have plenty of hand sanitiser stations located in and around the stadium for you to use.

Pre-booking is essential to guarantee a space in our Empress Restaurant and VIP Boxes – and to secure Fab 5 packages.

Bookings can be made online for Empress Restaurant, Bar4000 Admission, VIP Boxes and Fab5 or you can contact our bookings team on info@towcester-racecourse.co.uk or 0800 304 7700 (press option 4) and our friendly staff will be able to assist you. Pre-orders for the Restaurant and Boxes need to be filled in prior to your arrival.

Bookings cut off 1 hour before opening on race days (Tuesday 4pm / 12pm Sunday). We cannot guarantee tables will be available at late notice so please book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Online bookings have a cut-off time of 10am on the day for Tuesday and 6am on the day for Sunday. Bookings can be made over the phone.

We do not have a limit to how many people can sit together or come as a party. You can book online on our website or contact us directly via info@towcester-racecourse.co.uk or 0800 304 7700 (press option 4) and our friendly staff will be able to assist you.

(In the Empress Restaurant & VIP Boxes) To help keep everyone safe and adhere to current guidelines you will be assigned a table for the night at the time of booking, and this will be your table throughout the event.

(Bar 4000/Fab5) The tables are on a first-come-first-serve basis. There are tables located in the Bar4000 and there are many tables located outside.

Yes. You are free to stand up and move around the building and outside freely. 

Our toilets are checked and cleaned throughout the event. If there is anything not to the standard you expect then please bring this to our attention.

(In the Empress Restaurant & VIP Boxes) When you arrive at your table this will be explained in detail to you by a member of our staff but in summary, we will be operating a table service for betting, food, and drinks. Staff members will be allocated to your tables to provide this.

(In Bar 4000) Please go up to the Bar for food and drinks. We have a betting station located next to the Bar where our Tote will be.

(Outside) Please go into the Bar 4000 to get food and drinks or use our outside bars located outside. Betting does not go outside, however the bookies are located outside. We also have an outside bar which you can go up to and order a drink from.

Yes – however, we encourage all guests to use contactless or Debit and credit cards wherever possible. Card is accepted throughout the Stadium.

Menus are available on our website.

The waitress/waiter will introduce themselves when you are seated at your table. As well as the tote operator.

The waiting staff will explain in detail on the evening how it all works – from taking drink orders (unless pre-ordered) to how the tote works. If you have any questions or concerns, please raise these with management as we want to ensure you are happy with the service you will receive.

Supervisors and Management will always be on-site to ensure you always have someone to attend to you during your visit.

Bar food is available from our Café in the Bar 4000. Menus will be available all around the Bar and can be given to you at request. Please pay at the counter.

Unfortunately, we can only allow food and drink purchased at Towcester Racecourse to be consumed on-site.

Children are welcome to the Stadium, 14 and under get free admission. When booking your adult tickets, please make a note of how many under 14’s are attending in the comments section.

For hospitality packages for children, please book this separately from your adult booking. All prices can be viewed on our website. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.

Yes, all bookings will receive a racecard.

(In Empress Restaurant & VIP Boxes) The racecard will be located on your table.

(General Admission and Fab5) The racecard will be given to you in the admissions tent or on reception.

Yes, you will be welcome to go outside on the steppings if you are in Bar 4000, if you are in the hospitality areas you will be welcome to go onto the viewing balcony. Please social distance when using the outside areas.

Yes, please let the security aware on arrival and they will make sure you can park closer to the venue. Our lift will be available to use, but only for one person plus a carer at any one time. The lift will be cleaned and sanitised as part of our enhanced cleaning schedule.

(In the Restaurant & VIP Boxes) We have glass-fronted windows & doors facing the track which you can see from seated at your door. But you are welcome to go out onto the balcony to get a clearer view of the track. We do have several TV screens located around the areas which show the races.

 

(In Bar 4000) There is access to the front of track area for close-up viewing, however we do have several TV screens placed around to view the races.

Yes, bookmakers are located out front of the Empress Stand near the track.

Yes they can come and join you. If you have any questions, please contact the Racing Office at towcester@bagsracing.com

Yes. You will be able to stand up, but please be considerate to those around you.

Parking is still available for all our customers and is free. On race days, please use the rear entrance to the racecourse via Heathencote. Please follow our guidance and instructions when walking from your car to the Towcester Racecourse entrance.

Our dress code is smart casual.

You can place Win, Place, Forecast, Trio, and Pick 6 Jackpot bets on the tote.

Races can vary depending on the day.

Monday – 11 Races
Tuesday – 12 Races
Friday – 11 Races
Saturday – 13 Races
Sunday – 14 Races

Unfortunately we do not allow dogs onsite.
