The English Greyhound Derby: May 19th – June 25th
The world’s largest greyhound racing spectacle is back in action at Towcester Racecourse this summer. Over six weeks, 192 greyhounds will be competing to win the £175,000 prize! The Derby is in it’s 92nd year and represents the pinnacle of the sport.
On June 25, the day of the final, you can expect live entertainment, music, performers, food stalls and so much more! A full day of racing and entertainment makes this an unmissable day out that will be fun for friends and families.

Towcester Food Festival: 11th – 12th June
Calling all foodies – this is the event for you! From live cooking demonstrations, tasting sessions, masterclasses to more than 50 food and drink stalls, this festival has it all.
Browse the stalls, sample local craft beer, grab lunch from the diverse street food market and enjoy it on the lawn while taking in some live music.
Free cooking demos and sessions will be hosted by the best of local talent and children’s cookery will be on offer across the whole weekend.
This festival is the place to be for friends, families and foodies. It will be open between 10am to 4pm on Saturday June 11 and 10am to 4pm on Sunday June 12. Get your tickets now for just £10! Tickets can also be purchased on the gate for £15.
Classic Car and Bike Gathering: 17th July
If you have a passion for vintage cars and bikes, then you aren’t going to want to miss this epic day out. The Classic Car and Bike gathering will be welcoming enthusiasts, spectators and collectors from far and wide this July.
Check out the exciting selection of cars and bike on display or even bring your own! Discover automotive history amongst the fantastic array of classic and vintage vehicles we will be showcasing. Locally sourced food will be available to purchase onsite and our bars will be open throughout the day. After a day of classic cars and bikes, stay for a thrilling night of greyhound racing for no extra cost.

Medieval Armored Combat and Festival: 30th – 31st July
The Mercia Challenge cup is coming to Towcester! We will be hosting an international, full contact medieval fighting tournament over the last weekend in July for the first time ever in England.
Teams of knights dressed in period clothing use traditional fighting techniques and weapons to battle each other. The event will see teams competing from England, the US, Prague and France. Battles will take place throughout both days with winners decided by a panel of judges.

Fishing Lakes
For a once in a lifetime fishing experience look no further than the Towcester Lakes. This totally unique carp fishing experience is unmissable for a keen angler. Our spring fed, four-acre lake has been stocked with more than 110 handpicked carp. Many of the carp weigh over the 20lbs mark with our lake record standing at just under 30lbs.
Fishing slots are available for up to four people at a time per 36-70 hour session. Guests are invited to camp on the racecourse for the duration of their stay. Shower and toilet facilities are available. Guests will also receive free entry to all Towcester events during your stay.
