A popular classic car show is returning to historic Towcester Racecourse where automotive enthusiasts will be treated to an array of vintage vehicles.
The Towcester Classic Car and Bike Gathering will be held from midday on Sunday July 17th amid the splendor of the expansive racecourse grounds. The event returns by popular demand and visitors will get the chance to admire vintage cars and bikes while enjoying a family friendly day out.
Visitors will enjoy a multitude of magnificent motors showcasing classic automotive history including vintage British vehicles and bikes. Classic car clubs and individuals are invited to showcase their own classic cars or bikes that are aged more than 20 years old. The gathering will bring together like-minded individuals, all with a passion for vintage vehicles.
A range of food and drink will be available from local food and drink vendors and all tickets also include complimentary greyhound racing from 2pm.
Geraldine Kovac, Towcester Racecourse Events Manager, said: “We’re taking the Towcester Classic Car and Bike Gathering up a gear this year with some special exhibits from across the automobile industry.
“It will be another unmissable day out for any motoring enthusiast in the beautiful backdrop of Towcester Racecourse. And to really make a day of it we’re inviting everyone to stay on and enjoy a thrilling day with greyhound racing to top off a perfect day out.”
Towcester Racecourse is a multi-purpose events, community and greyhound racing hub set in 310-acres of land in the Northamptonshire countryside. It is the home venue of the prestigious English Greyhound Derby and hosts race meetings several times each week, including Sunday afternoons.
Admission to the Towcester Classic Car and Bike Gathering costs just £7 for adults, £5 for 15- to 18-year-olds and under 14s go free. The event opens at midday and closes at 6pm.

To exhibit a classic car or bike it costs £7, including 4 admission tickets per vehicle. The vehicle must be more than 20 years old.
