Towcester Racecourse, set in the heart of Northamptonshire, is a historic 310-acre multipurpose venue. Towcester is home to one of the best greyhound racing circuits in the country and has recently won a five-year contract to hold the prestigious, English Greyhound Derby.
We are looking for 4 betting cashiers to work on our Tote during race evenings.
About This Role
Betting staff are expected to deal with customers responsibly, accept and pay bets and balance takings at the end of the day. You will be required to use a static or mobile betting terminal across the racecourse. Being vigilant with Gambling Law Compliance will also be a strict part of your responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be a good communicator
- Have a strong customer service experience
- Be confident and capable of making quick decisions to deal with a range of situations
- Have dependable math skills
Evening and weekend work is essential. 10-20 hours required per week.
