The road to Star Sports/TRC English Derby glory will begin at Towcester very soon and serious preparations will get underway on Sunday with the first of the trial stakes ahead of greyhound racing’s blue riband event.
As expected, the Irish are gearing up for another strong assault, having brought the trophy home across the Irish Sea for the past three years. A number of contenders from the Emerald Isle will be in action, joined by a host of talented homebased hopefuls setting the stage for some truly compelling racing.
