Graded Superstars of the Week 21/01/2022

Peter Harnden has enjoyed a fantastic start to the week with a hattrick of winners on both Monday and Tuesday night. The week started with wins for Salacres Ocean, Salacres Sadie and Salacres Finesse. Peter followed it up on Tuesday with wins for Salacres Greegsy, who will also be going for his hattrick next week, Salacres Mitchel and Skipalong Hugo.

He wasn’t the only one to bag a handful of winners on this week with trainer Frank Gray pulling out four winners. The most notable being Alien Bleu wining on her second attempt. She will certainly be a bitch to watch over her Towcester career. The other wins came for Savana Rum, Manx Kipper and Savana Jackie.

Kevin Hutton showed a training masterclass, earning not only a hattrick of wins but all of them came in A1, Towcester’s top grade. The best one of the night was sure to be Coppice Fox who won well on debut for Mr Brealey. His other winners came for Westwell Bale and No Worries. These dogs all winning A1’s will be sure to bring a headache for the grader and we will be sure to see these three in open company again shortly.

Stephen Rayner’s greyhounds performed on a cold Thursday afternoon, earning him three winners on the card. The wins came for Tinksthebest, Tinks Gem and Unlikely Breeze, who won well on her return from a month long injury.

Manyana for the McDonald’s and trained by Mark Wallis, won on its second attempt after the restructure saw it upgraded to A4. Lenstan Bobby for Mr Brewerton and trained by Richard Baker also won on its second run in a competitive A3. Benandyjac matched them on Thursday for Heather Dimmock and Mr G. Lovesy. They will be sure to win many more races here at Towcester.

Tullymurry Dandy (Abbie Steels) and Savana Charm (Derrick Atkins) will both be going for their hattrick’s on their next runs.
